About the Role
The Senior Development Lead will oversee and contribute to the design and development of cloud-native web applications, guiding a high-velocity, cross-functional development team. The role focuses on building scalable prototypes, integrating feedback to progress toward a robust platform, and implementing flexible technology solutions. The position requires experience with C#, Angular, jQuery, and MS SQL Server, as well as leadership in delivering mission-critical, high-performance applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of high-volume, low-latency web applications using C#, AngularJS, jQuery, and MS SQL Server.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions and plan Agile Sprints.
- Assess technical risks and document recommendations for scalable, maintainable architectures.
- Coordinate solution design with Architecture, Data, Infrastructure, and Business teams to ensure speed to market and prioritized outcomes.
- Coach development teams on SDLC documentation, coding standards, and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding project progress and support needs.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in .NET, Angular, JavaScript, and SQL Server development.
- 4+ years of experience in development team leadership.
- 3+ years of AWS experience, including containerized and serverless environments.
- Proficiency in OOP concepts, data modeling, design patterns, and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Team Foundation Server/Visual Studio, TeamCity, or Octopus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coaching skills.
- Experience in Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain experience in Finance or Financial Services.
- AWS Certification.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as CSS, Semantic HTML, and Responsive Design.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
- Understanding of Document Object Model (DOM) and related functions.
