About the Role

Keyrus is seeking an experienced Senior C# Developer to join a high-impact project aimed at developing secure, cloud-native data applications for the insurance sector. This role involves designing and implementing scalable, compliant systems to handle sensitive personal and health information across regions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C#/.NET backend development, Azure cloud integration, and a working knowledge of modern UI frameworks like Blazor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement microservices using C# and .NET.
  • Develop internal tools with Blazor for data visualization, dashboards, and form-based data entry.
  • Create reusable UI components to enhance user workflow efficiency.
  • Build secure and auditable REST APIs for data ingestion and processing.
  • Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for data aggregation and validation.
  • Integrate with Azure services including App Services, API Management, Service Bus, and Kubernetes.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (encryption, tokenization, authentication).
  • Collaborate with Agile teams and contribute to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Write unit and integration tests, document code, and provide audit documentation.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in C#/.NET backend development.
  • Strong knowledge of REST API design, microservices, and secure coding practices.
  • Experience with Azure services such as App Services, Kubernetes, Service Bus.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Snowflake.
  • Experience with Blazor for building internal web tools and data visualization UIs.
  • Knowledge of data tokenization, encryption, and privacy regulation compliance.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or hold a valid work permit for Portugal.

Good to Have

  • Experience with data privacy vaults or API-based tokenization services.
  • Knowledge of healthcare or insurance data compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Experience in multi-cloud deployments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
