About the Role
The Software Engineer III will join a dynamic team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining fullstack web applications using modern technologies. The role involves leveraging Node.js, functional programming with Scala and Ruby, and a robust tech stack (React.js, MongoDB, AWS) to create seamless, scalable, and high-performing web applications. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively in an agile environment to deliver innovative solutions, while also contributing to mentorship and continuous improvement within the team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications and UIs using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Razor Pages, Blazor).
- Build responsive and accessible user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and UI libraries/frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, Bootstrap).
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB) and ORMs like Entity Framework Core.
- Perform unit and integration testing to validate functionality and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both development and production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Stay current with emerging .NET technologies and trends.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior developers.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, focusing on web and UI development in the .NET ecosystem.
- Expertise in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and MVC frameworks (experience with VBScript is a plus).
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
- Proficient in front-end development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern UI framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Proven experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases; proficiency in Entity Framework Core.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Knowledge of Blazor for interactive web UIs using C#.
- Experience with VBScript.
