TIAG is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to work with our Department of Defense (DoD) client in Fairfax, VA. This role is mostly remote, but preference will be given to candidates living near the DC Metro area.
The Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality software solutions in a secure DoD environment. The ideal person will have extensive experience in the entire software development lifecycle, combining backend .NET skills with modern front-end development. The role requires close teamwork with analysts and stakeholders, strict adherence to DoD cybersecurity standards, and experience working in cloud environments used by the military.
Main Duties:

Develop and maintain web apps using .NET Framework and .NET Core, running on IIS with SQL Server databases.

Create responsive, modern user interfaces using Telerik Progress UI for ASP.NET AJAX, and support Blazor UI when needed.

Work with Business Analysts to clarify requirements and provide technical expertise during client meetings.

Write automated unit tests with xUnit to ensure code quality.

Ensure all software meets DoD cybersecurity guidelines, including STIG compliance.

Integrate and support commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tools like EasyQuery, RebEx SFTP Client, and NLog.

Help migrate older applications to .NET Core as part of modernization.

Operate within secure military cloud environments like STRATUS and ECMA, following security rules.

Use Azure DevOps for version control, continuous integration/delivery, and deployment automation.

Mentor junior developers and share knowledge, documentation, and best practices.
Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain DoD Position of Trust clearance.

8+ years of technical experience, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT.

At least 5 years developing full stack applications using .NET Framework and .NET Core.

Strong skills with SQL Server and Entity Framework.

Experience with Telerik UI components; familiarity with Blazor UI is a plus.

Advanced CSS and SASS/SCSS skills for front-end styling.

Experience in automated testing and test-driven development with xUnit or similar.

Knowledge of integrating enterprise COTS tools.

Experience using Azure and Azure DevOps for development and deployment.

Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity and STIG requirements.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Experience working in secure military cloud environments.
Preferred:

Direct experience with Blazor UI development.

Familiarity with other COTS tools for .NET solutions.

Knowledge of DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and automation.

Salary: $125,000 to $140,000 annually.
