About the Role

Scribe is seeking a talented .NET / C# Developer to help build and launch cross-platform desktop apps that empower top customers to create Scribes effortlessly. The role focuses on developing native applications for Windows, Mac, and Linux using Avalonia UI to provide a seamless experience across all platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop and launch native desktop apps for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Gain in-depth knowledge of native desktop APIs for all major platforms.
Build and implement user interfaces using Avalonia UI.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and improve the apps.
Participate in full development life cycle: from ideation to deployment.

Required Skills

2+ years of experience in C#.
1-2 years of experience building native desktop apps.
1+ years using Avalonia UI, WPF, or Xamarin Forms.
Strong understanding of desktop application development and APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Swift and native MacOS APIs.
Familiarity with desktop media APIs (microphone, camera, screen capture, etc.).
Experience with Python (Django).
Previous startup experience is a plus but not required.
