About the Role
Peraton is seeking a skilled Mid-Level .NET (Angular) Developer to join their team in a dynamic hybrid role. Based in Boston, MA, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work with Angular, .NET, and SQL technologies to develop robust web applications and services. The successful candidate will receive a 6-week onboarding period to ensure a strong foundation, followed by a hybrid work schedule with flexibility for remote work.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Angular, .NET Framework 4.8, ASP.NET, C#, and VB.NET.
- Design and manage SQL Server databases, including data modeling, performance tuning, and optimizing SQL queries.
- Implement and manage stored procedures, triggers, and SSRS for reporting needs.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, and AJAX Toolkit.
- Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems for a smooth user experience.
- Create, modify, and manage data-driven reports using SSRS to meet business requirements.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, Master’s degree with 3 years of experience, or High School Diploma with 9 years of experience.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on collaboration and transparency.
- Expertise in .NET technologies, database management, and web application development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and AJAX Toolkit for front-end development.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- In-depth knowledge of SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Technical proficiency in .NET Framework 4.8, ASP.NET, Angular, and VB.NET/C#.
- Problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Experience with Windows Services, SQL optimization, and scalable web applications.
- Proficiency with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
