About the Role

A financial services client is seeking an experienced C# Developer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of large-scale, distributed, enterprise-level Microsoft .NET applications. The role focuses on supporting the systems that power large-scale pension, financial, and similar organizations. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in .NET development, web services, and modern web application integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable .NET applications for enterprise use.
Work with Microsoft WCF services running on Windows servers.
Create high-performance internet and intranet applications using ASP.NET, C#, jQuery, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
Integrate modern enterprise applications with legacy systems.
Utilize LINQ and Entity Framework for efficient database interactions.
Provide mentorship to development teams and assist with technical documentation.

Qualifications:

At least 7 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing scalable Microsoft .NET applications.
5+ years of experience with ASP.NET, C#, jQuery, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
Experience integrating with mainframe legacy systems.
Expertise in using LINQ and Entity Framework.
Strong communication skills and the ability to create technical specifications and documentation.
Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud technologies.
Experience with Microsoft Web API, ASP.NET MVC, Angular.js, or Knockout.js.
Familiarity with responsive design frameworks like HTML5, Bootstrap, and Telerik Kendo UI.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
