About the Role
Everbridge, a worldwide leader in critical communication and safety solutions, is seeking a C#/.NET Developer to join their remote team anywhere in Hungary.
As a developer, you’ll be part of an energetic team that values initiative and proactive work. Your role is important because the software supports emergency responders like ambulance teams, firefighters, and police around the globe, often under urgent conditions.
Your Responsibilities:

Create top-quality software using current web and backend technologies.

Work with modern platforms like .NET, .NET Core, and Asp.Net Core to build reliable and scalable applications.

Keep up-to-date with platform updates and incorporate new features into development.

Participate in technical decision-making within a SCRUM team, applying your software expertise and best practices.

Continuously learn new technologies and stay current with industry trends.
What You Need to Bring:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

At least 3 years of software development experience, ideally with C# and .NET.

Strong skills in .NET Framework and .NET Core.

Experience creating scalable REST APIs.

Knowledge of Entity Framework.

Good understanding of Object-Oriented design and software best practices.

Awareness of security, performance optimization, SaaS, and RESTful services.

Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and Postgres databases.
Nice to Have:

Front-end experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, or Ionic.

Experience building single-page applications (SPA) with Angular 8+ or Ionic.

Familiarity with Node.js, npm, Karma, and Git.

Skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS.

Experience with WCF and message-based middleware.
