About the Role

The Software Development Engineer – DevOps/CI/CD will contribute to building and maintaining automated development pipelines, cloud-first deployment strategies, and modern software infrastructure. This role requires hands-on expertise in DevOps tooling, automation, and collaboration with agile teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, maintain, and optimize software in cloud environments.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using best practices.
  • Administer and automate Azure DevOps environments and workflows.
  • Collaborate with agile teams to ensure rapid, reliable software delivery.
  • Integrate and manage DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions, JIRA, Confluence, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Lead initiatives to incorporate AI tools for CI/CD optimization.
  • Support containerized deployments using Docker and related technologies.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years in DevOps or software engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET development.
  • Expertise in Azure DevOps administration, API integration, and YAML pipelines.
  • Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Groovy scripting, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, SQL, and stored procedures.
  • Familiarity with Docker, containerized environments, and Visual Studio (2019/2022).
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, version control, and automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with VBScript.
  • Administration of Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as DataDog, Grafana, or Splunk.
  • Familiarity with code analysis and release management processes.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML tools into CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for automation, innovation, and continuous improvement in fast-paced technical environments.
