About the Role – Senior Backend Engineer (.NET)
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Engineering team in Stockholm, Sweden. This is a full-time, on-site role.
Our backend team consists of skilled developers passionate about technical excellence. We’ve built a system of nearly 60 microservices in C# with about a million lines of code, and our platform is recently upgraded to .NET 8. Our architecture is microservices-based, with solid foundations like observability, dependency injection, and messaging. We move fast, release frequently, and maintain high standards because, in fintech, precision and reliability are critical—no payment should fail, and no money should be lost.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain .NET Core microservices

Write clean, well-tested code to support continuous integration and deployment

Contribute to architecture and design discussions at team and company levels

Develop scalable, high-performance, reliable systems

Work as part of an agile team

Troubleshoot bugs and performance issues efficiently
Requirements:

10+ years of experience in modern backend development, focusing on C# and .NET

Experience with cloud environments

Proficiency with SQL databases

Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture

Understanding of Kubernetes and microservices deployment

Experience with build and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps
