The Senior .Net Developer will create technical solutions to support the Core Self-Funded business within Independence Family of Companies, enabling electronic business transactions. This role involves close collaboration with different development and infrastructure teams such as application developers, DevOps, and system administrators. The developer will partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and convert them into technical solutions. They will design, build, maintain, and manage applications and APIs using the .Net framework to support business functions. Experience with Angular JS is a bonus. The developer will take requirements from concept through all stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment, while actively participating in Agile daily scrums.
Key Responsibilities:

Build software solutions to meet business data needs.

Define and document technical requirements in Azure DevOps.

Follow security best practices within the DevOps process.

Participate in on-call support and daily Agile scrums.

Create architecture diagrams for applications.

Review technical architecture to ensure it meets business and system requirements.

Collaborate with architects and DBAs to deliver full-stack solutions integrating front-end and back-end systems.

Develop web apps using the .Net framework and Angular.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and WCF services.

Produce system documentation such as technical specs, user stories, and diagrams.

Support testing and production rollouts.

Help develop coding standards and assist teammates.

Stay updated on best practices in content management systems.

Perform peer code reviews.

Work closely with customer teams to understand business rules and portal integrations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technology or related field.

10+ years experience in web, portal technologies, or distributed systems integration.

Strong skills in ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, Entity Framework, and WCF Services.

Expertise in HTML, JavaScript, Angular, REST API, SOAP, and XML.

Solid understanding of object-oriented design and SOLID principles.

Experience working in Agile environments and following DevOps processes using Jenkins and Git.
